Hi, I’m Michelle Lindsay—photographer, small business owner, solo traveller, dragon-boater, and proud mum and wife.
I’ve always had a camera in my hands. As a kid, I used to snap photos of my sisters with a little point-and-shoot, not knowing that one day, photography would become such a big part of my life. Years later, while exploring the breathtaking landscapes of the Peruvian Andes, I found myself falling in love with photography all over again—this time, with more intention. That experience pushed me to take a leap and study photography formally here in Canada. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve made.
Today, I specialise in headshots, brand photography, business portraits, and commercial product work. With a background in Marketing and Graphic Design, I bring more than just technical skill to the table. I approach every shoot with a creative eye and a deeper understanding of how images communicate your story, your personality, and your brand. But where I truly feel at home is behind the camera, connecting with people.
I believe the best photos come from a place of comfort and trust. Whether you’re stepping in front of the camera for the first time or the fiftieth, my goal is always the same: to make you feel at ease, to show you at your most natural and confident, and to create images that feel honest and true to who you are.
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll probably find me chasing sunsets, paddling on the water with my dragon boat team, or planning my next solo adventure. I’m naturally a bit introverted, but clients often say that my easygoing nature and sense of humour help make the whole process feel more relaxed—which is exactly how I like it.
Photography isn’t just my career; it’s part of who I am. I’m grateful every day to be able to do this work, and I look forward to helping you see yourself through my lens—authentically, confidently, and beautifully.
